Weekend Summary

Round 1 of the new Season was a fantastic and rewarding weekend at Red Bull Ring. First race weekend with the new race car Dallara F320 and racing for my new team “Franz Wöss Racing”. We showed improving pace throughout the different sessions and were competitive in both races. Variable weather conditions including rain in the free practices limited the testing time, but overall it was a very positive weekend collecting valuable experience and some championship points.

Qualifying

🏁 Result	🥈 P2 in the Super Formula category Overall P9 for Sprint Race and P10 for Feature Race

🌦️ Weather	☁️ Cloudy / ☀️ Sunny
📝 Notes	Solid qualifying in the dry. Some free practices were in the wet or in damp conditions. Thus, I was ok with P9 with my first qualifying this season in the new car

Sprint Race

🏁 Result	🥈 P2 in Super Formula category, overall P8
🕒 Fastest Lap	1:31.320
🌦️ Weather	☁️ Cloudy
📝 Notes	Bad launch, dropped from P9 to P12, after that I had great battles overtaking several cars to finish P9 overall

Feature Race

🏁 Result	🥈 P2 in Super Formula category, P7 overall
🕒 Fastest Lap	1:29.523
🌦️ Weather	☁️ Cloudy
📝 Notes	Fair launch, dropped from P10 to P11 and had great battles fighting back to P8 overall
