Weekend Summary

Round 2 of the Season 2026 at the Imola circuit was again a fantastic weekend. Weather conditions were perfect and allowed to use all free practices to improve. For me this was crucial to adapt with my new car F320 to the track. In the first race I made it to the podium overall in the Italian Championship “Topjet F2000 Formula Trophy”. Several cars of the front pack crashed out in turn 1 of the sprint race and a very solid pace allowed me to bring the surprise podium home. In the Feature Race on Sunday I had great battles and finished on P8, collecting again further experience and some championship points.

Qualifying

📝 Notes	Solid qualifying in the dry. Some free practices were in the wet or in damp conditions. Thus, I was ok with P9 with my first qualifying this season in the new car

Sprint Race

🏁 Result	🥇 P1 in Super Formula category, overall P3 in the Italian Championship (P4 in the Austrian one)

📝 Notes	Solid start off the grid, avoiding the crash of three drivers in the front pack allowed me to bring home an unforgettable P3 overall in the Italian Championship

Feature Race

🕒 Fastest Lap	1:42.926
🌦️ Weather	☀️ Sunny
📝 Notes	Fair launch off the grid in P8, fighting great battles, winning and losing some positions, made me finish P8 reflecting my pace. Despite the less impressive result compared to Saturday, I improved my lap time and pace clearly compared to the previous day.
